Well, before I launch into the art blogging that I'm raring to do today, I have to send out some BIG LOVE!
My girls and I went out on the town for some kibble last night and I had the best dining experience I've had in a very long time, if not ever. We decided on Vietnamese restaurant, Tamarine on Dundas Street in London.
The service was incredible. The host opened the front door for us as we approached the restaurant and seated us promptly. We were a party of eight and the accomodations at the table were perfect for the size of group we were. The ambiance, decor, lighting and table settings were incredibly warm and inviting while maintaining a modern appeal.
Our waiter was friendly, kind and not intrusive. We were never wanting for anything and were very much treated as guests. And our food and drinks always arrived in perfect time.
Now for the food...UNBELIEVABLE! The best Pad Thai I have ever had...ever. Owner, Long Phan paid a nice visit to our table and let us know that the dishes served at Tamarine are long time family recipes. Obviously, they have been honed to the point of perfection because the food was beyond delicious. All eight of us ordered something different, and we each thoroughly enjoyed our dishes. Being a vegetarian, I was thrilled to see an extensive vegetarian section on the menu, and I can't wait to go back and try something different...but, that pad thai is going to be hard to resist.
The pricing was great, especially considering the quality of not only the food, but the entire experience.
I am certainly not a restaurant blogger, but I just had to put the word out to anyone who reads my little art blog...GO TO TAMARINE, and go now! Thanks for a wonderful night out, Tamarine, I will be back.
