Hello, friends and welcome to my little world of art!

Fine art, illustration, instruction and very soon art therapy.  I've been working very hard at earning my graduate degree in art therapy and I look forward to the challenge of a new career path.  However, I'll still be working as a commissioned artist, illustrating occasionally and I am most certainly instructing at Heather's Stamping Haven in Ottawa again this June, 2012.

So, we are adding something new to the roster this spring at Heather's...large, frameable Copic works of art!  Don't panic, I'll be making it as easy as 1-2-3.  You all know that I am the originator of the colour-guide in regards to stamped images...well I've decided to take things a step further and use the same concept on a bit more detailed and larger scale so you can draw and colour your very own piece of artwork.  How exciting!  The inspiration for all this is the grey and red birch in the Fine Art Portfolio:  a large illustration (done with a Multiliner and Copic Sketch) I created and gave to Heather as a big old thank you for hosting me for all these years.  Contact Heather's Stamping Haven in Ottawa ON if you're interested in this or any of my other courses for June.

Please feel free to drop me a line via the contact page if you have any questions regarding illustration rates, instructing and speaking fees or to inquire about commissioning a painting.  If you are interested in community art program development and implementation, please contact me for information about past and current programs and how I can work with your organization to help you reach your creative goals.
